That's right: you no longer need a scorecard to keep track of who's who in L&R, as the Bros. initiate a cycle of punchy short stories. This issue kicks off with a short epilogue to "Wig Wam Bam" in which Hopey finally returns to Hoppers. Jaime's second story, "Easter Hunt," is a "flashback" starring Maggie and Hopey originally written and drawn by Gilbert in the mid-'60s (really!). Gilbert contributes "Farewell Palomar," the first story set entirely in Palomar since the conclusion of "Human Diastrophism" four years ago. This story shows Jesus released from prison and returning to Palomar; the story culminates in a vintage Hernandez party/fiesta to send off Guadalupe, who is journeying to the U.S. (in a storyline that ties in with Love and Rockets X).
