Sam and Twitch arrive at Chu Lai's home. Astonished at how young Lai appears to be, the detectives begin to question her possible connection to the homicides committed the previous night. Not liking being put on the spot, Chu Lai asks Sam and Twitch to leave her home. The detectives oblige and seek refuge in a local restaurant. Chu Lai calls her subordinates and reminds them that she does not like to be noticed by the police. She tells them to clean up the mess immediately. Receiving their orders, The Black Salamanders ambush The Sons of Dragon in a local import warehouse. The skirmish flows into the street, and toward an old church. The screams of panic gain the attention of Sam and Twitch as they finish their well-priced Chinese meal.
