Friar Tong is awakened by the Black Salamanders' feud with The Sons of the Dragon in his church, and proceeds to investigate. Trying to prepare himself for anything, he is shocked when he finds both gangs violently attacking each other inside his church. Still in shock from the current situation, the friar reacts in panic once Sam and Twitch arrive. After a short confrontation with the Friar, Sam and Twitch throw themselves into the fray to try and protect The Sons of the Dragon from their "vampire" rivals. During this, the duo becomes separated, and Sam ends up in a tight situation when both he and a Dragon gang member run out of ammunition. Unable to obtain a clear shot to save his partner, Twitch settles on rolling a cart filled with prayer candles into the group of Black Salamanders that have surrounded Sam. Two unlucky gang members go up in flames instantly and run out into the rainy night. Just as things are starting to calm down, Twitch is taken by surprise by one of the Black Salamanders and is unable to defend himself from a set of fangs going into his arm.
