Seamus Halloran and his lawyer free the primary suspect, Robert Kellerman, from Sam and Twitch’s interrogation. Although both detectives know they must now protect Pete Draven at all costs, Twitch manages to quickly grab the cigarette left by Kellerman in the interrogation room trashcan. Hoping to get a DNA match to the blood sample collected at Pete’s apartment, Twitch leaves this new evidence with Gordy, the Medical Examiner.
