| D : Dessin S : Scénario Let's party like it's 1983 all over again! This double-sized issue of Love and Rockets features several homecomings that will bowl over both longtime readers and new fans. First, of course, there's the return (after eight years) of original Bro. Mario with "A Fairytale Princess," an action-packed tale of imperialistic exploitation of the Third World. Then there's the return of Maggie Chascarillo (after three years), whom Jaime has discovered bumming around on the Texas/Mexico border. The long story shows her interaction with locals in a small town where she happens to be staying. And finally, Gilbert's four-year epic "Poison River" ends this issue. After Luba and Ofelia do a "Thelma and Louise" across the continent, the story winds up with the two of them walking, for the very first time, into a small Central American hamlet called... Palomar! That's right: this story weaves into the fabric of the very first "Heartbreak Soup" story! Old acquaintances are renewed and loose ends are tied up as L&R finishes its 10th year of continuous publication!
