In the midst of several mysterious gangland and police-related shootings, Sam and Twitch are at their wits' end trying to solve them. After facing down the spooky trench-coated assassin in the sewers and on the streets, they are also faced with a gang of cops who accuse them of being involved in the killings. Tired of being jerked around and having their reputation smeared, they storm to police headquarters to demand answers. Outside the station, Sam meets with the head of the Sangiacomo crime family, who tells him that police Internal Affairs officers are actually the Feds, who are using Sam and Twitch to lead them in their search for Udaku, whatever or whomever that may be.
